Kathleen Chaves, CCI CEO, and Richard Chaves, CCI President have been recognized by their local community and Oregon State Agencies for their commitment and generosity to their community. In 2004, they were recognized nationally by the Americans for the Arts with the BCA 10 award, as one of 10 corporations in America dedicated to the Arts.

Kathleen, Richard and CCI’s employees have dedicated more than 10 years providing leadership, fundraising, training, mentoring, administrative support and financial sponsorship.

Baker Sports Complex:

CEO Kathleen Chaves led the Baker Sports Complex non-profit project, raising $3 million to build a twenty-eight acre indoor and outdoor sports complex for our youth.

Crossroads Carnegie Arts Center:

Kathleen Chaves led teams to raise $1.6 million to renovate Baker City’s historic 1909 Carnegie Library to be the home of Crossroads Carnegie Arts Center.

Americans for the Arts selected CCI as one of the BCA 10 for making a significant impact on its community. Other award winners have included Walt Disney World, Macy’s, Boeing, Bank of America, Lexus, and Booze-Allen Hamilton

2010 : Kathleen Chaves awarded Baker County Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year
