Chaves
Consulting, Inc. was founded by Richard Chaves in 1984 to help
rural Eastern Oregon government agencies meet increasing
administrative demands in the face of decreasing staff sizes and
tightening budgets. Over the years, Chaves cost-effective
solutions have expanded to support agencies across the state,
including private sector accounts.
Since 2002, the company has expanded by adding back-office
services which include a customer call-center that provides
USA-based English language support with the quality of services
that far exceed off-shore non-native tongue organizations. Other
back-office solutions include providing software training and
support, printing, mailing and accounts receivable services, and
other administrative services, for public and private sector
clients throughout the United States.
Kathleen Chaves became part owner of Chaves Consulting, Inc
in 1993. Kathleen came from IBM where she spent ten years as a
business process specialist and marketing manager. She focused on
providing solutions to clients of all sizes and a diversity of
industries, and won many awards for providing outstanding customer
solutions. Kathleen became CEO of Chaves Consulting, Inc in 2007.
Richard and Kathleen’s focus on delivering quality customer
services and systems knowledge have resulted in long-term customer
loyalty. The family-friendly job opportunities that Chaves
provides, attracts skilled, long-term, customer centered
employees.
The company is located in rural Baker City, Oregon. This location
makes it possible to keep costs affordable, avoiding the higher
costs that are incurred by companies operating in large
metropolitan areas.
Chaves Consulting, Inc. is a certified woman-owned, HubZone
and emerging small business. Their reputation has been built on
satisfied clients. The company’s ongoing vision is to provide the
best outsourced customer service possible to meet the diverse
needs of state and local governments, and private sector accounts.
Chaves’ motto is “Customers don’t care how much we know until they
know how much we care.”
